FSDPA is organized to promote the professional and personal development of physician assistants in the practice of quality, cost effective and accessible health care in the medical specialty of dermatology; to foster the Physician/PA relationship; and focus on increasing the medical education of dermatology physician assistants through live seminars, conferences, and hands-on techniques workshops.

Past, Present and Future:
In 2008, Randy Banks, Risha Bellomo and CaSondra Soto decided it was extremely important for Florida Dermatology PAs to have a forum which would allow their members to connect. The need to be a unified voice was made apparent with each legislative challenge. Only through diligence and persistence, have we managed to strengthen the Physician/PA relationship. This in turn is opening opportunities for growth.

The goal for this society is to motivate all Florida Dermatology PAs to be involved and be heard. We will mentor those PAs who want to hold leadership positions. We will develop a network for disseminating information. We will offer innovative, local educational programs. But most of all, Florida PAs will find a dynamic, members oriented resource that addresses their unique needs.
