Basic & Intermediate Surgical Workshop allows for a hands-on approach to punch biopsies, excisions and suturing. Each person practices on a pigs foot. The workshop is appropriate for beginners who have never even touched an instrument.
Advanced Surgical Workshop offers hands-on surgical experience utilizing pig's feet and individualized attention from experienced teachers. Topics to be covered include advanced suturing techniques, advancement and rotational flaps as well as skin grafts. We will also discuss how to achieve improved cosmetic outcomes, choice of suture material and management of postoperative complications.
